***Please note: I only sell licences for my crochet patterns (downloadable PDF files, see Delivery Info below), NOT completed items! As such, all sales are FINAL.*** Four original crochet amigurumi cat patterns (Single-Coloured, Tuxedo, Calico and Tabby) by June Gilbank. Buy all four patterns together here and save 1/3 on the price of buying them separately - that's a great deal! Yarn: worsted weight yarn in: - Single-Coloured: any cat colour (e.g. white, cream, orange, brown, grey, black) - Tuxedo: black and white - Calico: white, black and orange - Tabby: a pair of tabby-suitable colours (one lighter and one darker): e.g. grey and black; browns; oranges Hook: US E / 3.5mm Additional info: These patterns include 5 pages of bonus info in 3 appendices: - Two-page appendices for both right- and left-handers that clearly explain my innovative method for joining the legs and body while you crochet so they sit at exactly the right angle in the finished cat. - Bonus instructions to crochet the (optional) pictured nose from crochet thread or embroidery floss and a 1.25mm/size 9 steel hook. Instructions for making a simple felt or embroidered nose are also given. These are modular patterns: save paper and ink by printing only the appendices you need, from only 1 of the 4 patterns (crocheted nose; right-handed or left-handed assembly guide, or neither). Size: approx 5.5"/14cm tall Eye size: 9mm (Although I used black eyes for my sample cats, I purposely chose the size to work with 9mm eyes - the most common size of cat 'safety' eyes!) PERSONALIZATION Before you can complete your order, you'll need to enter "yes" in the 'Personalization' box to confirm you understand you are buying a single-user licence for a crochet pattern to make the item you see in the photos for this listing, NOT the finished item that you see in the photos. Your pattern will be downloadable as a PDF file from PlanetJune; see 'Delivery Information' below for details. All sales are final. DELIVERY INFORMATION This/these pattern(s) will be downloadable from PlanetJune.com as PDF file(s) once I have processed your order and issued your pattern licences. I aim to process Etsy orders once a day, even on weekends and holidays when I can, and within 24-48 hours whenever possible. I'll email you with your download details when your order has been processed - please check your Spam folder for an email with subject 'your PlanetJune download instructions' if you don't see my email! I don't sell my patterns through Etsy downloads, as I don’t sell just *PDF copies of crochet patterns* as other Etsy sellers do, I sell *perpetual single-user licences* for my patterns, which give you far more! All pattern licences are processed through the PlanetJune shop, and they offer you all of my licencing perks (including unlimited downloads, free updates, customer support whenever you need it, etc - see 'Pattern Licence Information', below). Your PlanetJune account gives you unlimited access to all your PlanetJune pattern purchases, in case you ever need to download another copy, or if there's an update to the pattern. If you don't already have a PlanetJune account using the email address you use for your Etsy account, I'll create one for you using that email (UNLESS you request the account be created with a different email address and/or as a gift - please see my shop's Frequently Asked Questions for gifting instructions). PLANETJUNE QUALITY All PlanetJune patterns include detailed written descriptions and crochet instructions together with clear step-by-step photos to demonstrate assembly and any special techniques or other potentially confusing parts. PlanetJune patterns are available in English language only, using standard (US) crochet terminology. Take a look at some examples of my pattern style and quality: - Free Patterns: www.planetjune.com/free - Crochet Tutorials: www.planetjune.com/help PATTERN LICENCE INFORMATION Please note: you are buying a perpetual, non-transferable single-user licence for a PDF crochet pattern. Your licence entitles you to exclusive perks: - Unlimited copies of the pattern (for your personal use only): if you lose the pattern in 1, 5, or 10 years and want another copy, you can simply download it again from your PlanetJune account! - Free access to any errata or revisions to the pattern. - Unlimited support from me - the designer, June Gilbank - via email (my email address is at the end of every pattern), and via the PlanetJune community support groups (www.planetjune.com/ravelry and www.planetjune.com/discord). - You MAY sell items made by you from this pattern provided you credit me (June Gilbank, PlanetJune) as the designer. - However, your pattern licence is non-transferable, and PlanetJune patterns MAY NOT be shared, passed on to others, re-sold, or redistributed in any other way. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? Please see my FAQ (www.planetjune.com/faq) or message me prior to purchase if you need any other information, or email me at any time after purchase if you have any questions about the pattern, or need any assistance! (My email address is at the end of every pattern PDF, so you always have direct access to me if you need customer support.) CANADIANS - PLEASE READ! Please note that due to Etsy's policies for tax-registered Canadian sellers, the price you see when you order from PlanetJune via Etsy is GST/HST *inclusive*. The price may seem high because, unlike most other Etsy items, you will not be charged additional GST/HST at checkout on any PlanetJune items. I know this is confusing, so please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions about this (or anything else) - I'm always happy to help.
Well, after many *many* requests, I finally did an Umbreon. I know this will bring about an onslaught of requests for the other 'Eevee-lutions' and yes I'll get to them all... eventually :D It just depends on my yarn stash, my time and well --- motivation. LOL As with all the patterns, if you have any problems or if you notice anything wrong in the pattern (I'm prone to typos LOL) let me know and I'll get back to ya as soon as I can :D --> Umbreon Materials: WW Yarn black and yellow G Hook Fiberfill Yellow, red, white and black felt scraps Yarn Needle BODY: Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6) Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12) Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18) Rnd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24) Rnd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30) Rnd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36) Rnd 7-12: sc in each sc around (36) Rnd 13: sc in next 10 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (33) Rnd 14-15: sc in each sc around (33) Rnd 16: sc in next 9 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (30) Rnd 17-20: sc in each sc around (30) This is a fairly good place to begin stuffing and shaping if you haven't already. Add any stuffing needed to finalize the shaping and weave in tail. FINAL ASSEMBLY: I highly recommend that you pin all parts together before you begin to sew them, to make certain all parts are as you like and in the position you prefer. Head is sewn to body as shown, take your time and pin the head on first, making sure that the neck is adequately stuffed, and that the 'nape' of the neck is positioned so as to create the curve of the neck. (See the pictures to help you position the head) For the yellow markings, cut 5 oval shapes from yellow felt, then cut out the center of each to make the 'rings'. Pin one of them to the head, between the ears and slightly to the front. The other four are each sewn onto the 'shoulders' of the leg pieces. You can do this before you sew the legs to the body, but I would recommend that you first pin the legs in the positions you want on the body, and then pin the markings to the legs as you prefer them, then unpin the legs and sew on the markings (or you can wait to add the markings after sewing on the legs.) When sewing the legs on, you will probably want to add a little stuffing under each 'shoulder'. Not much stuffing is generally required here, just enough to give a very slight 'roundness' to the shoulder/hip area – and make a smooth transition from leg to 'body'. Ears and tail are positioned and sewn on as shown. Eyes are cut from red and black felt scraps, in shapes as shown. Catch lights are very small pieces of white felt.
